Announcement for my candidacy

Bill Maher has certainly put me on the spot here.  While most have probably heard rumblings about my possible run in 2012, my exploratory committee has only just been formed and has asked me not to say anything publicly. However, as my supports know I have never been one for subtlety, when I see something I want I reach out and grab it.  The current republican field is embarrassingly timid and weak-willed.  I see no other option but to lure the nomination into my cage, grab it by the face and tear for all I'm worth.  My specific policy positions will follow, and while I am a bit of a maverick on some issues, the republican voters will be impressed by my strong positions on preemptive defense.  So watch me very carefully during this race as I intend to make some very powerful and unexpected moves to prove my dominance.
